The standard configuration for the 4′ Flush Mount Whip that must be used in conjunction with the Flush Mount Frame is three High-Temp wires [1 Black #12, 1 Red #12 & 1 Green#14 (Ground) with Ring Terminal] installed in flexible metal conduit. Hi-Temp Ceramic wire nuts are also provided.

Within the Flush Mount Whip packaging (included in the purchase of a Flush Mount Frame) there are 2 loose Black #14 wires and enclosed within this Contactor panel there are 2 loose Red #14 wires. All of these wires are needed to operate the heaters in the configurations on the left side of this page. 

Notes:

•  All Infratech products must be installed by a Licensed Electrician. 
• Remove both the Red#12 and Black #12 wires in the whip. Then add the 2 Black #14 wires from the Flush Mount Whippackaging and the 2 Red #14 wires from the contactor panel into the flex conduit.
• This configuration will have two Flush Mount Whips (one for each heater). To have enough wires, only remove the Black #12 wires from both whips and then add the 2 Black #14 wires from each whip packaging to each flex conduit. Then add one Red #14 wire from the contactor panel to each whip. Each Flush Mount Whip will contain 2 Black #14 wires,1 Red #14 wire, and 1 Red #12 wire.
• Do not determine your wire sizes based on the Flush Mount Whip wire size. The wiring used within the whips and units is High Temp 450C wire with a much higher ampacity than standard 90C wire.
